SSD Is A Winning Upgrade

I must say, after the initial upgrade, I loved my SSD drive. Has anything changed, not at all. How did I go this long without it, I have no idea.

For those of you out there wondering what the time difference is. The easiest way to tell you how big of a difference this makes on a computer. Imagine the last time you bought a completely new computer. The upgrade is more noticeable than what that has ever been to me.

As always, when buying any drive, make sure that you check the benchmarks. Get a drive that really performs won't cost you an arm and a leg if you shop based on benchmarks. This got me a drive that rates in the top 5 of benchmarked drives for under $200. For an upgrade that still makes me go wide eyed, I think it's a great deal.

Now that I've said all that, I must say this, if you're thinking about buying this drive, unless you can't wait for the boost, hold out until early in the new year. Computer prices always drop as the new stuff is being launched. This means you will probably be able to get a large storage SSD for the price of the same SSD with have the storage now. Food for thought.
