Google Chrome

It looks as though I've made a browser switch. So far I'm really pleased with Google Chrome. It started out as a switch since my former browser made too many changes for my liking. Here's what I like about Chrome.

First off, the speed and compatibility. It takes a very tiny amount of resources, and it's lightning quick. It's also compatible with all web page graphics so far, this for me is a must. If graphics don't load properly, it's an automatic out.

Second, it imports very nicely. Not only did it take all of my bookmarks, it also was able to take every one of my passwords. For those of you who have had to re enter this, you know what kind of a tedious process this can be. All of this, without a hitch, it was a very easy process.

Third and last, the sync option. You simply log into your Google account, now, all your passwords are backed up, as well as your favourites and settings. This makes restoring or using this browser on another PC a very easy thing to do.

On a quick side note, never save your on line bank password in a browser. Enter them every time. It's just like a card that auto enters the PIN, not recommended for safety.

It might be a little to soon to tell if this is a permanent swap, but, I must say, it looks like it. The look and feel could be a little better in Chrome, but for what it offers, I can get used to it I think.
