Save the shortcuts you'll looked so hard for and do a Firefox backup.

Now that your files and contacts have all been secured, lets do a Firefox backup and save all your internet shortcuts.

I like to export my Firefox to a folder called Firefox in My Documents, that way when I do my regular backup it's included as well.

This is probably one of the easiest things to backup, lets get to it.

Backup

    Remember

    Add this file to your regular computer file backup location.

  • Step 1 - Open up Firefox, click on Bookmarks, then Organize Bookmarks.
  • Step 2 - Select Bookmarks Menu.
  • Step 3 - Click Import and Backup, then click Backup.
  • Step 4 - Select your file location and click Save.

Restore

  • Step 1 - Open up Firefox, click on Bookmarks, then Organize Bookmarks.
  • Step 2 - Select Bookmarks Menu.
  • Step 3 - Click Import and Backup, then click Restore, click on choose file.
  • Step 4 - Find the JSON file on your computer, then click open.
  • Step 5 - If you are warned about replacing files, click OK.
