October 2010 Tight Budget Build

The time for thinking about your work computer has probably come up.  With the whether going south as we end up spending more time on our computers, those of us with slow ones think about upgrading.

If your computer has you feeling a little on the slow side and you're in a tight budget situation but still want a new computer, this build will be right up your alley.  The components are all high quality, but spending the time searching for the price point that is the lowest, this is what I've come up with.

From a good online retailer, you should be able to come up with these parts for around $650, before shipping and taxes.

TIP! This build will benefit from Windows Readyboost.
