I always wanted to have a very powerful computer but buying even the top of the line ones in the stores were not as good as what could be put together if you knew what parts to get for it to be the way you want it to be.
I found a top of the line motherboard to start from and I knew the specs that I wanted. I wanted a 1 TB hard Drive and a 1 GB Video card, Windows 7, at least 4gb of RAM and 2 DVD drives, one would be a burner with lightscribe.
I also wanted to have many USB ports since I have many things that I use to connect like ipods and printers. I did find it hard to get the right power supply to be compatible with all the parts that I bought to make it all work right but in the end I did find a power supply that worked extremely well. I added a muti-card reader as well for pictures using SD or pro duo cards. 3 quiet fans were also included to keep the PC from getting too hot.
The processor is a core I5 quad 4 running at 3.3 GHZ and I have to say this is now the fastest computer that I have ever seen in my life as it runs everything flawlessly, smooth game play and a breeze on the internet.
So if you yourself really want a great computer it really is not that hard to buy all the parts separately and put it together yourself. You will be glad you did. Good luck!
